Lars Rebien Sørensen joins the Jungbunzlauer Board
To further strengthen the breadth of competences at the board we are pleased to announce that Lars Rebien Sørensen has joined the board of directors at Jungbunzlauer Holding AG, Basel, Switzerland.
Mr. Sørensen, a Danish citizen, is former CEO of Novo Nordisk A/S, vice chairman of Carlsberg A/S (Denmark), board member of Novo Nordisk Fonden and Novo A/S (Denmark), board member of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (US) and board member of Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget SCA (Sweden).
Jungbunzlauer has successfully achieved an organic growth beyond the underlying development of the markets served over the last decade. This has been achieved through two axes of investments. Firstly the development of sustainable and efficient process technologies embedded in major investments in new capacities. And secondly, by applying a market approach striving to be the supplier of choice of our customers through quality, reliability and ability to offer products and application knowledge allowing them to offer end-user products matching the trend for safer, healthier and more sustainable solutions.
Mr. Sørensen has the ideal set of competences and experiences from large global, pharma and/or technology oriented manufacturing companies which will contribute to a continued growth of Jungbunzlauer within the current family ownership.
