Jungbunzlauer’s production site in Ladenburg, Germany, has successfully achieved EXCiPACT certification for five key pharmaceutical excipients, further strengthening the company’s position as a trusted supplier to the pharmaceutical industry.

The certification covers the following products manufactured in excipient-GMP quality at the Ladenburg site:

  • Tripotassium Citrate (TPC)
  • Trimagnesium Citrate (TMC)
  • Citric Acid Anhydrous (CAA)
  • Trisodium Citrate (TSC)
  • Tricalcium Citrate (TCC) for specific granulations

EXCiPACT is an internationally recognised certification scheme for pharmaceutical excipients that combines the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP). The certification confirms that the certified products are manufactured and distributed according to rigorous quality and compliance standards, providing additional assurance for customers operating in highly regulated pharmaceutical markets.

Achieving EXCiPACT certification reflects Jungbunzlauer’s strong quality culture and its commitment to delivering safe, reliable, and consistent products for demanding pharmaceutical applications. The certification process also validates the company’s structured approach to quality management and its adherence to the guidelines of the International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council (IPEC).

With this achievement, Jungbunzlauer further strengthens its ability to support pharmaceutical customers worldwide by providing high-quality excipients that meet stringent regulatory and industry requirements.

As quality and compliance remain central to the company’s operations, Jungbunzlauer continues to invest in robust processes, continuous improvement, and industry-leading standards across its global manufacturing network.
