Corporate Sustainability Report 2023

This report details our significant achievements over the past year and outlines our strategic plans for the future.

One of the substantial steps we are taking towards sustainability is the investment of CHF 300 m in sustainability-related projects over the next five years. This investment reflects our dedication to reaching our sustainability targets.

A highlight of 2023 was the validation of Jungbunzlauer’s near-term climate targets by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This validation is a proof to our commitment to decrease CO2 emissions in our operations and in our supply chain.

In addition, we are pleased to report a record low lost time injury frequency rate, demonstrating the effectiveness of our comprehensive safety initiatives. Ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees is a top priority, and this achievement is a clear indicator of the success of our measures.

Reinforcing the importance of sustainability within Jungbunzlauer, we have also incorporated a Scope 1 CO2 emissions corporate target into the new Jungbunzlauer Incentive Plan starting this year. This decision highlights our commitment to integrating sustainability into all aspects of our operations.

We are very proud of what Jungbunzlauer has achieved so far. As we look ahead, we are optimistic about our journey towards our ultimate goal of becoming climate neutral by 2050.
