Sodium Gluconate EMF 1240
Introduction
Sodium gluconate EMF 1240 is the mother liquor of the sodium gluconate (CAS-No. 527-07-1) production, having similar properties to dry sodium gluconate. Non-corrosive, non-toxic and easily biodegradable, sodium gluconate EMF 1240 is getting more and more appreciated as concrete set retarding and plasticising agent.
Sodium gluconate EMF 1240 is a highly efficient set retarder and a good plasticiser / water reducer for concrete and mortar.
Additionally, it forms stable chelates with calcium, iron, copper, aluminium and other heavy metals, especially in alkaline and concentrated alkaline solutions.
Sodium gluconate EMF 1240 is easily degraded biologically, and thus presents no wastewater problem.
