pH-Regulation

CITROCOAT® N

CITROCOAT® N is the Jungbunzlauer trade name for citric acid with a monosodium citrate coating. Compared to regular citric acid, CITROCOAT® N is less hygroscopic and less reactive with other ingredients.

Monomagnesium Citrate

Monomagnesium citrate is the monobasic magnesium salt of citric acid and is mainly used as magnesium source in food supplements and beverages.

Citric Acid Anhydrous

Citric acid is the most widely used organic acid and pH-control agent in foods, beverages, pharmaceuticals and industrial applications. Citric acid anhydrous is particularly recommended in dry blends.

Gluconic Acid

Gluconic acid is a naturally occurring mild organic acid, neither caustic nor corrosive and with an excellent sequestering power.

Glucono-delta-Lactone

Glucono-delta-lactone, a neutral cyclic ester of gluconic acid, is commonly used as a slow release acidifier.

Sodium Gluconate

Sodium gluconate is the sodium salt of gluconic acid, produced by fermentation of glucose. It offers an outstanding chelating power.

L(+)-Lactic Acid

Lactic acid is a naturally occurring organic acid. It is used in many products as a mild acidity regulator with flavour enhancing and antibacterial properties.

L(+)-Lactic Acid Buffered

This solution consisting of lactic acid and sodium lactate solution is commonly used in confectionery products as a mild acidity regulator.

Potassium L(+)-Lactate

Potassium lactate, obtained by neutralisation of lactic acid, is a safe preservative with a high water holding capacity and buffering properties for food and personal care uses.
