General information
CITROFOL® BI is a fast fusing plasticiser for technical applications. The excellent compatability in PVC makes CITROFOL® BI a well suited and recommended plasticiser for artificial leather, textile coating, flooring and many others.
Specifications
CITROFOL® BI is supplied in intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) with 1000 kg net weight, in drums with 215 kg net weight and in small drums with 25 kg net content. Other packaging is possible upon request.
Jungbunzlauer CITROFOL® BI has been registered according to REACH Regulation at the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) in 2013.

Legal Aspects
According COMMISSION DECISION (EU) 2019/701 tributyl citrate is listed in the glossary of common ingredient names for use in the labelling of cosmetic products and has to be labelled as following: TRIBUTYL CITRATE (25224).
Usual functions are: film forming, solvent, plasticiser.
Tributyl citrate has been affirmed by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 21 CFR Section 175.105 as a substance for use only as components of adhesives.
