TMC as Food Additive

Trimagnesium citrate anhydrous is now approved as food additive in the EU and will be added to Annex II of Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008 with E-number E 345(i). The new regulation will come into force on February 12, 2024.

Trimagnesium citrate anhydrous is approved as stabiliser and anti-caking agent in solid food supplements up to 100 000 mg/kg.

Besides this, trimagnesium citrate anhydrous remains allowed as nutrient for food supplements and for fortification of food and beverages.
