New implemented emissions reduction initiative:

We emphasise our commitment to achieving climate neutrality by 2050 through the implementation of a clear decarbonisation roadmap. As part of this journey, we have consistently rolled out emissions reduction initiatives, focusing particularly on our production sites. These efforts reflect our dedication to minimising environmental impact and contributing to a sustainable future.

In a significant step forward, we have successfully electrified two steam-intensive purification process steps at our production site in Austria, which were previously powered by fossil energy. The renewable electricity is a combination of purchased hydropower and self-generated solar power.

By improving energy efficiency and switching to green power for these processes, we have achieved a significant reduction in our CO2e emissions, lowering our impact by up to 27,000 metric tons annually. This recent achievement reinforces our dedication to sustainable practices and our proactive approach to reducing emissions across our operations.
