Retirement of Dr. Achim Hergel and appointment of Franck Ueberschlag as Vice President Product Management

We would like to announce the retirement of Dr. Achim Hergel, former member of the Executive Committee, by 1 July 2023.

Let us take the opportunity to thank Achim Hergel for his significant contribution during the last 17 years. In his Executive Committee role, he has been instrumental in Jungbunzlauer's impressive growth with core commodity products but also with specialties.

Franck Ueberschlag is appointed to the role of Vice President Product Management, effective 1 July 2023. He will also be a member of the Executive Committee at headquarters Basel. In his former role as Director Key Account Management Franck Ueberschlag has provided structure and strategy to enable business growth and on top of his ‘day job’ has led multiple Global projects as well as participating in the growth of the Sustainability agenda.
