Request for registration of erythritol imports into the EU market for retroactive anti-dumping duties

Following the request by the EU erythritol producing industry, the European Commission has initiated an anti-dumping investigation regarding imports of erythritol from China on 21 November 2023.

The EU industry witnesses a substantial rise in imports following the initiation of the investigation.

Therefore, the European industry has requested the registration of erythritol imports so that future anti-dumping duties could be applied against those imports retroactively.
