EU industry requests prolongation of anti-dumping measures against citric acid imports from China
The European Union charges anti-dumping duties on citric acid imports from China. The EU Commission implemented this measure to adjust dumped import prices and to protect the EU industry from significant economic damage.
The current EU measures remain valid until 23rd January 2020. In October 2019, the EU industry filed an official request to review the current anti-dumping measures. The EU industry expects that the EU Commission will conduct a review and that this review will last from January 2020 until spring 2021. During the review period, the current EU anti-dumping measures remain unchanged.
