General Information

ERYLITE® Bronze is Jungbunzlauer’s natural version of brown raw sugar: It consists of the sugar alcohol ERYLITE®, a colouring fruit extract and a natural flavour which creates a unique taste sensation. It serves as zero calorie sweetener with a zero glycemic index (in the US 0.2 kcal/g). ERYLITE® Bronze is used as a sweetening agent in foods and beverages due to its mild sweetness and the pleasant flavour of malt and caramel and is recommended to all health-conscious consumers who want to reduce their sugar / calorie intake without compromising on good taste or naturalness.

ERYLITE® Bronze occurs as crystals with a nice appealing bronze colour. It has a unique caramel flavour and a sweetness level of 70 % compared to raw sugar. It is freely soluble in water. ERYLITE® Bronze is non-toxic and has a low reactivity. It is chemically stable if stored at ambient temperatures.

ERYLITE® Bronze is non-cariogenic , has a zero glycaemic index and is well tolerated.
