sub4salt® helps to reduce sodium without compromising taste. It is a patented mineral salt blend which can reduce the sodium content up to 50% whilst achieving identical functionality in final products compared to regular salt. sub4salt® was designed for a 1:1 replacement of salt, so that the product is very easy to use and does not require any adjustment of the standard recipe.
Dedicated to the meat industry, sub4salt® cure combines the widely used sub4salt® with sodium nitrite (0.5% / 0.9%) to create a healthier choice for the meat industry. Complying with a regular curing salt, sub4salt® cure mixes outstanding benefits of sodium reduction with the technological functionalities of a curing salt.

sub4salt® consists only of permitted additives according to the EC Directive 1333/2008/EC. There are no ADI levels for of its constituents published. It can be used on “quantum satis” principle if no other levels are set for certain applications.
The ingredients within sub4salt® meet the latest requirements of the Food Chemicals Codex (FCC) and the Commission Directive 2008/84/EC.
