CITROFOL® AII
General information
CITROFOL® AII is a versatile citric acid ester. As a result of its pharmacological safety, its use is especially desirable in products serving the medical, pharmaceutical and food contact sectors.
In pharmaceutical applications CITROFOL® AII contributes as plasticiser to the performance of enteric-coated tablets.
For personal care applications like nail lacquer, CITROFOL® AII provides beside good plasticising properties also excellent lightfastness.
Specification
CITROFOL® AII is supplied in drums with 225 kg net weight and in small drums with 25 kg net content. Other packaging is possible upon request.
Jungbunzlauer CITROFOL® AII has been pre-registered according to REACH Regulation at the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).

- High boiling point - low volatility
- Excellent compatibility with polar polymers such as acrylics, vinyl resins, ethylen-vinyl acetate and cellulose derivatives
