Sodium Gluconate EMF 1240
Sodium gluconate EMF 1240 is the mother liquor of the sodium gluconate (CAS-No. 527-07-1) production, having similar properties to dry sodium gluconate. Non-corrosive, non-toxic and easily biodegradable, sodium gluconate EMF 1240 is getting more and more appreciated as concrete set retarding and plasticising agent.
Sodium gluconate EMF 1240 is a highly efficient set retarder and a good plasticiser / water reducer for concrete and mortar.
Additionally, it forms stable chelates with calcium, iron, copper, aluminium and other heavy metals, especially in alkaline and concentrated alkaline solutions.
Sodium gluconate EMF 1240 is easily degraded biologically, and thus presents no wastewater problem.
Jungbunzlauer sodium gluconate EMF 1240 is supplied as a 45 % solution in water.
The product is technical grade and contains a biocide.
Jungbunzlauer Sodium gluconate EMF1240 is available in liquid form as a 45 % aqueous solution.
Jungbunzlauer sodium gluconate EMF 1240 is supplied in bulk and in intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) with 1250 kg net weight (1000 kg net for the 50 % solution).

Sodium gluconate EMF 1240 is a water solution of sodium gluconate. Sodium gluconate is exempted from the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) by means of Commission Regulation (EC) No 987/2008 of 8 October 2008 (amending Annex IV). As a consequence thereof, there is no need to register sodium gluconate.
Sodium gluconate EMF1240 may not be used in foodstuffs as it is technical grade.
