Successful external verification of Jungbunzlauer’s Greenhouse Gas Balance CO2e emissions for Scope 1 and 2 for the year 2021
Jungbunzlauer asked an independent third party to audit the Greenhouse Gas Balance for Scope 1 and 2 whether our reported emission data is in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
DEKRA Assurance Services, consultants with a proven track record in environmental reporting and auditing, confirmed to Jungbunzlauer the correctness of the presented Greenhouse balance for Scope 1 and 2 for 2021 in line with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol standard on a limited assurance basis.
Jungbunzlauer has prepared Greenhouse Gas Balances of Scope 1 and 2 for 10 years, together with the consultants myclimate, based in Zurich, Switzerland.
The independent audit of the Greenhouse Gas balance increases the level of confidence that the data is complete, accurate, consistent, transparent and relevant.
Jungbunzlauer commissioned DEKRA Assurance Services, Stuttgart, Germany to conduct a Greenhouse Gas balance audit for the global operations of the Jungbunzlauer Group for Scope 1 and 2 for the year 2021.
The verification of the calculation of the Scope 1 and 2 emissions was done with a limited assurance based on Greenhouse Gas Protocol Standard. The verification standard applied is ISAE 3000 Type 2.
