Jungbunzlauer is in the lactic acid market
We are proud to announce that Jungbunzlauer has successfully started production and supply of high quality L(+)-lactic acid and salts thereof. In line with our mission “From nature to ingredients®” and with our sustainability and responsibility values, Jungbunzlauer Lactics are made by fermentation of natural, non-GM carbohydrates in a brand new plant located in Marckolsheim, France.
Jungbunzlauer’s initial Lactics portfolio contains food and technical grades of lactic acid in concentrations from 50% to 90%, including heat stable variants, as well as 60% food grade sodium lactate and potassium lactate. Samples are available for all these products. Commercial volumes can be supplied in bulk, IBCs and drums. This portfolio is planned to be continuously extended.
All approached users of lactic acid and salts thereof acknowledge the outstanding quality of Jungbunzlauer Lactics. This, combined with our Better, Faster, Closer business approach, has resulted in first sales already. Jungbunzlauer is the sole company in the world producing all three largest organic acids obtained by fermentation: citric acid, gluconic acid and now lactic acid.
