Jungbunzlauer exhibits for the first time at the IPPE Trade Show

Jungbunzlauer Inc. exhibited at this year’s International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE), January 28 - 30, 2014 in Atlanta, GA USA. The IPPE represents animal agriculture, from farm to point-of-sale, combining the networking and educational resources of the American Feed Industry Association, American Meat Institute and U.S. Poultry & Egg Association.

The booth location was good and well positioned among other industry players. We showcased our key solutions for sodium reduction with an exciting and tasty “pig-in-a-blanket” demo, containing sub4salt® cure, potassium lactate and sodium gluconate. In addition, we served these with two delicious dipping sauces – grilled peach ketchup and beer mustard. Both of these flavourful sauce options featured our sub4salt®, lactic acid, and xanthan gum. The demo was well perceived and visitors complimented us on the good taste.

A rare ice storm turned Atlanta into a slippery mess on Tuesday afternoon, into Wednesday, stranding thousands for hours on frozen roadways, hence the number of attendees at the show was way under projection. Nevertheless we come back with some quality leads for potential business and / or technical projects. We certainly gained valuable insight into the industry and market trends such as non-GMO, natural and sodium reduction, which align well with our value propositions.
