Jungbunzlauer Donates €100,000 to the Red Cross Lower Austria Flood Relief Fund

Jungbunzlauer, a global leader in sustainable ingredients, has made a donation of €100,000 to the Lower Austria flood relief fund of the Red Cross. The donation comes in response to the devastating floods that affected the region in September 2024, causing widespread damage and displacing many families. Jungbunzlauer’s contribution will directly support recovery efforts and provide much-needed aid to those impacted by the disaster. 

“Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the terrible flooding in Austria,” said Bruno Trembley, CEO of Jungbunzlauer. “The urgent need to help our communities recover is clear, and we are committed to standing with them as they rebuild their lives. We hope our contribution will provide some relief and inspire others to support the recovery efforts during this difficult time.” 

Jungbunzlauer has deep roots in Lower Austria, including its state-of-the-art facility in Pernhofen, Austria where it specialises in the production of citric acid and other fermentation-based products. The Pernhofen facility employs more than 500 colleagues and is a key part of Jungbunzlauer’s dedication to innovation and sustainability, serving markets across Europe and beyond.
