Jungbunzlauer acquires AGI, formerly owned by Roquette Ventures

Jungbunzlauer is a leading ingredients producer of natural origin based on fermentation focusing on acidulants, texturants, specialties and sweeteners. The company serves customers across the food & beverage, nutrition & health, and household markets. 

AGI will operate as an independent subsidiary of the Jungbunzlauer Group retaining its brand and identity.  

The acquisition reaffirms Jungbunzlauer’s commitment to its texturants business, most recently reflected by the announcement of a major investment in a new Biogums plant in Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada.   

Customers of both AGI and Jungbunzlauer can expect no disruption and continued commitment to exceptional quality and service.  

Jungbunzlauer warmly welcomes AGI to the Jungbunzlauer group.
