We consider economic sustainability to be a cornerstone of our strategy and a key element to guarantee the future success of our company and our employees, our business partners as well as the local economies in which we operate. Thanks to continuous investments, state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and comprehensive quality management we are able to guarantee outstanding product quality through efficient and responsible production processes and ensure economic sustainability.
Jungbunzlauer offers safe products in line with our implemented product safety and HACCP procedures. All our packaging, labelling and documentation adhere to the stringent European and North American legal requirements. Our company complies with the legal regulations on chemicals and foods, relevant legislations and codices, such as pharmacopoeias, specifications and standards on food additives of the Codex Alimentarius and REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals).
All Jungbunzlauer sites are certified according to quality standards such as the Food Safety Standard (FSSC) 22000 and ISO 9001. Moreover, in response to client demands, our facilities follow a non-GMO policy. Through audits by our clients and legal authorities we certify our ongoing compliance to these standards.
Jungbunzlauer is committed to meeting the expectations of its clients and stakeholders. We supply high quality products which are sourced and manufactured in a fair, ethical and environmentally responsible way. In terms of our own business practises we have implemented strict policies to prevent and prosecute any anti-trust behaviour, corruption, bribery and fraud.
Jungbunzlauer is dedicated to honouring all contractual obligations and commitments. We subscribe to the zero-default principle, our complaint handling system traces defaults in both production and logistics and we put a very strong emphasis on the implementation of preventive and corrective actions.
To strengthen Jungbunzlauer’s ability to avoid interruptions and disruptions in production and to ensure we can act rapidly in crisis situations and thus facilitate continuous supply to our customers, a business continuity plan has been incorporated in our corporate strategy. This plan helps us to be prepared and continue to operate in the event of unexpected economic changes, incidents and crisis events, all of which could affect our production and thus the security of supply to our customers.
The fact that we have our own raw material plants which provide the carbohydrate raw material needed for our products means that we do not rely on third parties for supply security. We also ensure the short-term security of supply through an excellent ERP system, perfectly maintained production equipment and a dedicated team in production, product management, sales and order processing. We carry inventories at company-owned and distributor warehouses throughout the world.
Jungbunzlauer is committed to preserving long-term sustainable prices by keeping cost at the lowest possible level. Our goal is to deliver security of supply and price stability through our established back-integration system.
