What we do
“From nature to ingredients®” is what we stand for. Jungbunzlauer’s products are manufactured utilising fermentation, a technology based on the ability of micro-organisms to transform renewable raw material (carbohydrates from corn, grains or sugar beets) into useful biodegradable products. Committed to rigorous quality standards, we guarantee for the excellence and sustainability of our products and services. All products can be used, transported and disposed of in a secure and ecologically safe way.
Today, Jungbunzlauer manufactures citric acid, gluconates, lactics, special salts, specialties, sweeteners and biogums for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cleaners and detergents and cosmetic industry as well as for various other industrial applications. Our natural ingredients contribute to healthier, safer, more sustainable and, last but not least, tastier consumer products.
A worldwide ntetwork of sales companies and distributors with a thorough understanding of markets and client requirements underlies Jungbunzlauer’s high level of market and customer focus. The company serves customers in more than 130 countries and operates manufacturing plants in Austria, Canada, France and Germany.
Our clients rely on about 1,300 committed employees throughout the world for excellent service and expertise. At Jungbunzlauer we continuously invest in developing the organisation and our people in order to grow and strengthen our market position – and to ensure that it is a great place to work. In our four manufacturing sites, we have investments planned of around 500 mEUR within the next five years.
Our annual sales exceed 1,000 mEUR.
