Business Manager Non Food / Eastern Europe

Key Responsibilities

The Business Manager Non-Food for Eastern Europe is a key role responsible for driving the sales and strategic development of Jungbunzlauer's Non-Food portfolio in this region. As an integral member of the commercial team, this individual embodies and promotes the company's values in the market, ensuring that customer needs remain at the forefront of all activities.

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the Sales Director to define objectives, strategies, and action plans tailored for individual customers. Lead the operational implementation of these strategies and development plans.
  • Client Engagement & Travel: Maintain close contact with current and potential clients through frequent visits, ensuring high visibility in relevant markets across Eastern Europe.
  • Distribution Management: Align with responsible sales colleagues to effectively manage distribution businesses, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Participate in the preparation of annual budgets under the leadership of the Sales Director. Work closely with Product Management and Market Development teams to input data into the IT system.
  • Contract Negotiations: Plan and implement periodic contract negotiations, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Team Collaboration: Maintain close communication with Sales Assistants, Technical Service, and Market Development teams to ensure cohesive and effective operations.
  • CRM Management: Utilize Salesforce to feed and maintain customer relationship data, ensuring up-to-date information is always available.
  • Sales Monitoring & Analysis: Continuously monitor sales to customers, identify deviations, and initiate corrective actions as necessary to meet targets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate intensive relationships with stakeholders in purchasing, R&D, and production departments, ensuring alignment and mutual benefit.
  • Credit & Compliance Monitoring: Oversee customer credit limits and ensure compliance with agreed payment terms to manage financial risk effectively.
  • Complaint Handling: Address and resolve customer complaints following the processes defined in COHASYS, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Event Participation: Actively participate in quarterly sales meetings, relevant industry events, and trade shows, both onsite and online.
  • Home Office Operations: Effectively manage a self-standing home office, ensuring productivity and communication are maintained at high levels.

  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or in a related field of marketing or business administration or equivalent work experience.
  • Good skills in Microsoft Office, SAP,
  • > 5 years in international sales/distribution B2B of fine chemicals for industrial applications,
  • ~ 3 years experience in the independent planning and implementation of business goals, including focus on new customer acquisition
  • Outstanding written and verbal skills
  • Handle internet platforms, social media, using the methodology of modern presentations,
  • High level of sensitivity towards the customer in order to represent the interests of Jungbunzlauer
  • Proven track record of positive sales performance
  • English, native language or written & oral fluent
  • Polish, native language or written & oral fluent
