The thickener system is based on our\u00a0xanthan gum<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0in combination with alginate and our\u00a0tricalcium citrate<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0as the calcium source for cross-linking of alginate. Both thickeners are essential ingredients in the formulation in order to create a smooth product that provides a new application sensation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The lotion we created is a classic emulsion with a pleasant soothing effect while in comparison the gel is a lighter, less rich formulation.
