Jungbunzlauer’s Trisodium Citrate (TSC) is safe – Statement regarding RASFF notifications on TSC with increased arsenic levels from China

Since July 2014 a number of RASFF (Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed) notifications have been published by the EU Commission regarding increased arsenic levels in Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate (TSC) imported from China into several countries of the European Union.

We can inform you, that trisodium citrate supplied by Jungbunzlauer is safe. It is produced in Jungbunzlauer's own factory in Pernhofen, Austria, and is not concerned by this notification. For more information, please read our statement on this issue.
