Jungbunzlauer Ladenburg both ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:1996 certified

Ladenburg, February 8, 2006 - In January 2006, Jungbunzlauer Ladenburg received its ISO 9001:2000 certificates after having successfully passed the quality management audit from October 2005.

Based on Ladenburg’s experiences with FDA/GMP as well as with customer audits, the speciality products manufacturing site got an excellent rating for production, maintenance as well as quality assurance. As Ladenburg is the only Jungbunzlauer location which includes sales and marketing activities on its production site, the audit also covered these departments. The certification company DNV has a specific focus on the so-called risk based certification, an approach being closer to the high GMP standards than the regular ISO standard.

This certification is an additional important milestone for the Ladenburg site and for the commitment to grow with specialitys products and with customers requiring high quality for both products and services. It is the result of the combined efforts of all Ladenburg departments involved.

In May 2005, Ladenburg already accomplished successfully the ISO 14001:1996 environmental management system which was also certified by DNV shortly thereafter.
